摘要: The relatively new field of phylogenomics is beginning to reveal the potential genomic data for evolutionary studies. As cost whole genome sequencing falls, anticipation complete sequences from divergent species, reflecting major lineages modern mammals, no longer a distant dream. In this article, we describe how comparative mammals progressing resolve long-standing phylogenetic controversies, refine dogma on chromosomes evolve and guide annotation human other vertebrate genomes.
