摘要: Laboratory techniques are often used to confirm a clinical diagnosis of oral herpes simplex virus (HSV) infection in patients with leukemia. In the present study, an immunoperoxidase technique (IPT) was examine smears taken from mucosa 44 leukemia at Vancouver General Hospital. It found that IPT as sensitive and specific viral culture confirming presence HSV. The be more predictive symptomatic HSV disease than because it did not give positive results if there only shedding absence disease. As is rapid inexpensive well being specific, sensitive, predictive, has definite role laboratory confirmation lesions leukemics.
