摘要: Abstract The purpose of this study is to classify and analyze the traffic performance characteristics urban trunk roads. It can help travelers effectively avoid peak hours crowded routes, managers formulate some refined management control on This paper extracts operating roads macro level by analyzing Traffic Performance Index (TPI) data. are divided into three types using agglomerative hierarchical clustering algorithm. According research spatial–temporal principles differences various in performance, links with frequent jams identified, mechanism different conditions illustrated. be concluded that road good most cases. On weekdays, there two obvious times every day. weekends, TPI data shows no time, overall weekends better than those weekdays. In addition, significant change trajectory spatial distribution mainly come from first third type.
