摘要: Abstract Two new isomeric forms of Cu(NCO)2(2,4-lutidine)2, a violet β and blue γ, were prepared examined by several physical methods. According to X-ray diffraction patterns the crystal structure β-isomer is very close that known α-isomer, whereas γ-isomer has considerably different structure. The electronic spectra indicate tetragonal for β-isomer, this being slightly more distorted than α-form, pseudooctahedral γ-isomer. IR give evidence N-bridging NCO groups in which ferromagnetic, temperature dependence its susceptibility conforms with an anisotropic Ising model g = 2·19 2J +9·0 cm−1. In isomer axial ligation Cu(NCO)2(2,4-lutidine)2 entities takes place nitrogen atoms from groups. These results show α- β-Cu(NCO)2(2,4-lutidine)2 represent pure distortion isomers, reduced γ-Cu(NCO)2(2,4-lutidine)2, comparison β-form, related linkage isomerism.
