摘要: Abstract Supercritical carbon dioxide (SCCO2) extraction of oil from peanuts is an alternative to hexane or the mechanical press. Oil was successfully extracted using SCCO2 at temperatures 25–120°C and pressures 140–690 bar. Pressure, temperature, vessel orientation affected oil. In range studied, highest values temperature pressure gave rates. Above about 400 bar, increasing significantly improved rate, while below bar reduced rate. Decreasing particle size increased rate total recovered.
