摘要: A broad variety of bacteria including the Rhizobiaceae are able to secrete polysaccharides. Sugar polymers that form an adherent cohesive layer on cell surface designated capsular polysacharides (CPS), whereas term exopolysaccharide (EPS) is used for polysaccharides with little or no association. Due variation monosaccharide sequences, condensation linkages and non-carbohydrate decorations, infinite array structures can be provided by this class macromolecules. Different rheological properties depend structure molecular weight EPS. These location EPS, forming outer surface, contribute protection against environmental influences, attachment surfaces, nutrient gathering antigenicity (Costerton et al., 1987, Sutherland 1988, Whitfield Beveridge Graham 1991). The structural diversity oligosaccharides derived from EPS enables them function additionally as informational molecules in cell-cell-communications. Finally, many symbiotic use signal interaction their host plant.
