The metamorphic rocks Garga block are over almost unmetamorphosed Cambrian deposits Formation. geologic position and structure mineral petrochemical compositions suture zone considered, U-Pb dating detrital zircon is carried out. develop after gneisses block; protolith, admixed with felsic volcanic material, was no older than Neoproterozoic (750–800 Ma). 40Ar/39Ar age estimated at 282 ± 0.4 Ma based on biotite from blastomylonites. marks transpression period during Late Paleozoic processes tectonometamorphic activity related to subduction Mongol-Okhotsk oceanic crust beneath Siberian continent.
