摘要: Eight ecological and morphological attributes of 39 non-dipterocarp tree species were examined in the Pasoh Forest Reserve (Pasoh FR), Peninsular Malaysia. The included three related to seed germination (seed longevity soil, responsiveness gaps type), or fruit (fruit morphology type, coat character, weight), two niche preference (successional status life-form adult plant). These treated as categorical data, dissimilarity matrix between was subjected clustering analysis using UPGMA algorithm. Three cluster recognized. first consists 17 primary that have short-lived seeds. also large seeds, no special coat, hypogeal is not responsive gaps. second group 12 gap-secondary species; most extra long-lived seeds with epigeal response gaps, a capsule an oily coat. The third 10 species, but differs from longevity; they intermediate long (mean life ≧ 3 months < years). This characterized by woody which are common like those seed. Our research suggests existence functional group, seed, distinct classical meaning. characterize this seem be adaptations mammalian herbivores dispersers.
