摘要: Abstract Introduction The long-term survival of endodontically treated teeth is an issue high priority focus in modern restorative dentistry. In available literature, generally and comparable with implants. For more compromised a specialist clinic, rate may be lower. This retrospective study aimed to investigate the 10-year public endodontic clinic. Methods From database 15,000 examined teeth, 420 330 patients were randomly selected included. Available potential preoperative, intraoperative, postoperative prognostic factors registered. Ten-year tooth was recorded by scrutinizing records contacting referring dentists patients. Results overall Kaplan-Meier estimated 81.5% (95% confidence interval [CI], 76.7%–85.5%). Placement crown, adjusted hazard ratio 0.27 CI, 0.12–0.61), P = .0016, age-adjusted 1.31 per 10 years 1.11–1.55), .0012, significant independent predictors for rate. Seventy-three (17.4%) 69 extracted during follow-up period. declared reason extraction related diagnoses only 5 cases (6.8%). Conclusions Approximately 80% at this clinic endodontics survived least years. Teeth young persons restored crown postoperatively significantly better. To further explore importance restoration randomized controlled trials need carried out.
