Iodine Distribution Map in Dual-Energy Computed Tomography Pulmonary Artery Imaging with Rapid kVp Switching for the Diagnostic Analysis and Quantitative Evaluation of Acute Pulmonary Embolism.

摘要: Rationale and Objectives To assess the diagnostic value of dual-energy (DE) computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) for acute embolism (PE) using a helical DE scan mode with rapid kVp switching. Materials Methods Seventy-six patients suspected PE underwent CTPA. Two readers independently assessed measured iodine maps. CTPA images were presence, location, degree as standard reference. Iodine maps used to identify perfusion defect (PD), accuracy was calculated. The concentrations PDs normal lung parenchyma also compared. Results A per-patient analysis showed 84.6% sensitivity 96.0% specificity map PE, on per-segment analysis, 82.9% 99.6%, respectively. Intraobserver interobserver variability correlations excellent, k values from 0.806 1.000.
