摘要: A novel colorimetric hydrazine-functionalized Schiff base chemoreceptor, NPMP, was synthesized following a simple one-step condensation pathway. NPMP showed selective change from faint yellow to yellowish orange in the presence of biologically ubiquitous fluoride (F−). It also ‘turn off’ fluorescent response F− that could effectively distinguish it all anions tested except acetate. Acetate (OAc−) caused weak response, while other like chloride, bromide, iodide, phosphate, hydrogen sulfate and nitrate did not have any observable effect on receptor (E)-4-nitro-2-((2-(perfluorophenyl)hydrazono)methyl)phenol. Recognition can be explained light multiple H-bonding interactions, as well acid–base interactions between host guest F−. Interestingly, enormous potential staining agent determining low levels intracellular fluoride. Moreover, found NPMP⋯F− solutions, incorporation Hg2+ optical changes, revealing this compound is smart material. Optical responses mimic molecular logic gate (INHIBIT gate). This interpreted combination an AND with NOT function. represented ‘Write–Read–Erase–Read’ memory function reflecting multi-writing ability.
