摘要: Summary Background There is a wide variety of morphological and clinical types tumours the salivary glands. Almost 30 histological these neoplasms are known. Adenoid cystic carcinoma rarely occurring malignant epithelial neoplasm. It occurs in major glands, but may also originate glands respiratory tract. Aim The aim present study was ultrastructural assessment infiltration periphery different adenoid Materials Methods Tissue samples from patients with were studied. group consisted pts. 21 pts tumour parotid, 8 submandibular 1 sublingual All surgically treated undergone supplementary treatment using radiotherapy Greater Poland Cancer Centre. Assessment tissue performed diagnoses evaluation. Results Ultrastructural electron microscopy revealed differentiation cells towards ductal salivary, myoepithelial pluripotential cells. Epithelial showed an increased nucleus-cytoplasm ratio, their nucleoli characteristic for actively proliferating analysis structural differences between central peripheral parts tumour. Conclusions that show lower degree maturation than ones its centre, stroma contains fewer collagen fibres, dominant elements at proteoglycans glycosaminoglycans, no histoformative features typical principal (central) part found periphery.
