Review Synthesis and characterization of cage octa(cyclohexylsilsesquioxane)

摘要: The compound of cage octa(cyclohexylsilsesquioxane)(c-C6H11)8Si8O12 was prepared in higher yield by the hydrolysis and polycondensation trifunctional monomer (c-C6H11)Si(OC2H5)3 mixtures solvents methyl isobutyl ketone anhydrous ethanol with concentration hydrochloric acid acting as catalyst. effects reaction conditions, such concentration, contents water catalyst were investigated. results show that better values these reactive factors 0.45 mol/L, H2O/XSiY3 = 3/1(molar ratio), Et4NOH/XSiY3 3 (molar respectively. existence boiling MIBK favours temperature, which accelerates formation octamer, reduces time eventually increases yield. FTIR spectrum 1H, 13C, 29Si NMR spectra has formula (c-C6H11)8Si8O12 structure. TG curve shows a decomposition primary temperature thermal residue inorganic Si–O–Si composition does not change during processing.
