摘要: PURPOSE To evaluate the spectrum of underlying anatomic abnormalities in iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis (DVT) by spiral computed tomographic (CT) venography. MATERIALS AND METHODS METHODS: During past 4 years, 56 patients with acute DVT have been evaluated CT venography at our institution. Forty-four had left-sided DVT, nine right-sided and remaining three both extremities. was performed use 2.5–3.2-mm x-ray beam collimation a 1.25–2.0-mm reconstruction interval. Spiral scans were initiated 5 minutes after intravenous contrast medium injection. The venograms correlated catheter venograms. In addition, axial sections their three-dimensional reconstructions, including multiplanar reformation volume rendering, presence or absence central obstructing lesions causes evaluated. RESULTS Among 44 37 significant veins inferior vena cava (IVC). most common lesion left iliac compression right artery ( n = 27; exaggerated bony spur associated extrinsic internal two).
