摘要: Introduction: The aim of this review is to summarize the available evidence for changes in bile composition following liver surgery and assess their use predicting post-operative complications. Materials Methods: A literature search was undertaken all studies focusing on composition, volume analysis. Articles were selected from MEDLINE, Embase Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials databases up May 2009. Results: Low values pre-operative bilirubin diglucuronide predict reduced function occurrence jaundice. concentrations hepatocyte growth factor interleukin-6 are associated with subsequent development failure probably surrogate markers situations where resultant hepatic regeneration inadequate. Conclusions: Analysis quality underused as a tool screening early monitoring patients at high risk developing major hepatobiliary procedures.
