Numerical simulations of the wheel-rail traction forces using the electromechanical model of an electric locomotive

摘要: This paper presents a methodology for modelling the movements of an electrical rail vehicle on any track. Vehicle movement is result drive system transferring electromechanical torque generated by electric motor onto wheels vehicle; while appropriate driving force forces resulting from contact between wheel surface and rail. The following applicable models were prepared: (for connections that constitute drive) with wheel-rail. These implemented in Matlab/Simulink. presented simulation tool vehicles has been used to test variety cases; demonstrating capabilities proposed method wide range situations. cases involved analysis dynamics start-up EU07 straight line. results obtained analysed are valuable information makes it possible determine both loading locomotive estimate travelling speed.
