Positive contrast, negative induction, and inhibitory stimulus control in the rat.

摘要: In Experiment I, 24 rats were trained on a multiple variable-interval schedule with doorlight and white noise serving as component cues. Two groups then shifted to extinction schedule, third group was maintained the schedule. The condition produced positive contrast when either light or signalled extinction, both of these cues acquired inhibitory stimulus control measured by combined cue test. II, for one group, variable-time second unchanged group. two experimental conditions identical patterns response-rate reduction in altered component, but contrast, whereas did not. Subsequent resistance reinforcement tests revealed that signalling stronger than variable time.
