摘要: Cassava is grown because of its starchy roots, but the leaves being rich in protein are mostly underutilized. For recovery, mechanical juice extraction from cassava and process was evaluated using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. The influence input variables such as nozzle diameter rotational speed screw investigated relation to efficiency. highest green yield (81.0%) dry matter press cake (61.3%) were achieved by 4 mm 18 rpm speed. content leaves, cake, sediment, supernatant found be 31.5%, 27.7%, 26.2%, 12.4%, respectively. crude protein, cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, total phenolic mainly accumulated cake. pressing concentrated amino acids sediment.
