摘要: Negative effects of land use change on water resources are among the most important environmental problems widely found in rapidly developing urban areas. Preserving green open spaces, including peri-urban agriculture, has been emphasized planning to maintain or enhance catchment capacity a landscape. However, effect agriculture water-related landscape functions varies depending type, distribution, and management farmland. This paper analyzes dynamics agricultural its runoff soil erosion, order support Jabodetabek Metropolitan Area (JMA) with Indonesia’s capital Jakarta at core. In 2012, JMA covered 53% total area, mostly located zone. Peak Flow Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) models were used quantify increase erosion three areas caused by an expansion dryland mixed gardens from 1983 2012. Critical zones, which generate identified each While reforestation farmland these zones will be only option steep slopes given great food demands rural livelihood, adoption conservation practices can make substantial contribution reduce flood risks conserve productivity land. A specific set policy incentives is recommended considering types distribution their impact erosion.
