摘要: Abstract The Ba2Y(BO3)2Cl:Ce3+,Nd3+ phosphor was synthesized by conventional solid-state reaction method and characterized using XRD, SEM, photoluminescence (PL) excitation, PL emission decay to understand the feasibility of this for NIR emission. XRD patterns recorded Ba2Y(BO3)2Cl reveal pure crystalline monoclinic phase belong a space group P21/m. surface morphology as prepared has been investigated SEM. When excited with UV, gives broadband at 420 nm, which corresponds allowed 5d→4f transition Ce3+ ions intense emissions in range 800–1400 nm, are assigned characteristic 4F3/2→4I9/2,11/2,13/2 transitions Nd3+ ions. dependence visible emissions, lifetime energy transfer efficiency (ηETE) were detail. Excitation, spectra curves have measured prove from Nd3+. fluorescence measurements efficiencies estimated mechanisms between proposed. results indicate that sensitization is possible via 4f-5d Ce3+.
