摘要: A method of detecting brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAEP) using adaptive signal enhancement (ASE) is proposed and tested in humans cats. The ASE this system estimates the component primary input, which correlated with reference input to filter. carefully designed make an optimal rapid estimation corrupted noise, such as ongoing EEG. With a good choice it possible track variability BAEP efficiently rapidly. Moreover, number repetitions required could be markedly reduced result superior that ensemble averaging (EA). To detect cats, only 30 averages are needed obtain reasonable filter, and, for humans, 350–750 sufficient satisfactory result. Using LMS algorithm, individual can obtained real-time.
