摘要: Background Effective treatment of Graves' disease during pregnancy is important because uncontrolled hyperthyroidism associated with increased fetal and maternal morbidity mortality. While there have been case reports patients who failed to achieve euthyroid state pregnancy, anesthesiologists rarely encounter undergoing urgent Cesarean section. Case A 31-year-old pregnant patient had due despite medical treatment. Her signs symptoms suggested distress aggravation the disease, leading hospitalization. After a induction for vaginal delivery, an section was performed under spinal anesthesia via interlaminar approach using 9 mg 0.5% heavy bupivacaine 20 μg fentanyl.
