First heterosexual intercourse in the United kingdom: a review of the literature.

摘要: First sexual intercourse is an event of immense social and personal significance, which also has major health implications. However, there been no recent review the literature in United Kingdom specifically relating to this event. This addresses gap, examining timing, circumstances, consequences first heterosexual intercourse. Studies were identified by electronic search, as well through contact with experts field. Academic published from 1960 pertaining UK context was included. A dominant focus on timing event, shows that age at young people become sexually active fallen decades. In addition, much concerned risk adverse outcomes, a sex often associated more negative consequences. There evidence suggest may not be most useful criterion for judging optimal having sex. It proposed promising concept relation readiness.
