摘要: Several investigations have reported high frequencies of reading and writing disabilities in criminal populations. The aims the present study were to assess frequency dyslexia among Swedish prison inmates relate other indices neuropsychological functions. Sixty-three with as their native language, age 19 57 years, examined by interviews, tests academic achievement, assessment. Twenty-six (41%) diagnosed dyslexic. As expected, dyslexic group performed more poorly on verbal compared normal readers inmates, but they also measuring nonverbal abilities. had higher paranoid avoidant personality disorders nondyslexics. They levels anxiety suspicion a lower degree socialization.
