摘要: Abstract This article presents an analytical study on the performance of a cascade refrigeration–heat pump system based model incorporating both internal and external irreversibilities. It further explores optimum allocation heat exchanger inventories in refrigeration cycles for maximization minimization cost. In novel attempt, CO2–propane system, lately showing good promise as future solution, has been numerically simulated comprehensively precision property routines working fluids this numerical subsequently employed validation proposed model. established that total inventory should be optimally divided ratio factor K between gas cooler evaporator exchangers maximal output minimal mechanical power requirement specified inventory. can also construed similar is recommended with output.
