Skeletal Trauma Analysis of the Lower Extremity

摘要: This chapter reviews the methods of forensic anthropological analysis in skeletal damage to lower extremity and serves as an introduction for later chapters discussing underlying physics methodology used engineering accident reconstruction. The discussion herein includes interpretation mechanism injury types defects seen most commonly within contexts. No such can be comprehensive each case must assessed separately. Consistency with known patterns stated, but majority cases, exact cause cannot determined. Analysis trauma requires understanding movement which these bones have evolved, capacity joints absorb forces, effects forces beyond withstand, resultant fracture produced by excessive force.
