摘要: Gilthead seabream juveniles were fed on either a fish oil (FO)-containing diet or containing 50 : 50 blend of FO and Echium (EO) to determine the effect EO growth, plasma parameters tissue lipid compositions. After 4 months feeding, there was significant increase 18 : 2n-6 reduction approximately 25% 20 : 5n-3 in flesh diet. At this point, half that returned as third treatment trial continued with three groups for further 3 months. end experiment, food intake, survival, growth not affected by inclusion dietary EO. However, hepatosomatic index (HSI), total triacylglycerol contents muscle decreased Feeding resulted increments potentially health-promoting fatty acids such 18 : 3n-6, 18 : 4n-3 20 : 3n-6 but reduced n-3 highly unsaturated acids, particularly 20 : 5n-3. When EO-fed diet, HSI tended increase, levels fully restored entire trial. Furthermore, present EO, which may promote beneficial health effects, reduced.
