摘要: High-spin states in the N=Z nucleus 72Kr have been populated 40Ca(40Ca, 2α)72Kr fusion–evaporation reaction at a beam energy of 165 MeV and using thin isotopically enriched 40Ca target. The experiment, performed Argonne National Laboratory close to Chicago, USA, employed Gammasphere array for γ-ray detection coupled Microball charged particle detection. previously observed bands were extended higher excitation ~24 angular momentum 30. Using Doppler-shift attenuation method, lifetimes high-spin measured first time order investigate deformation changes associated with g9/2 proton neutron alignments this nucleus. An excellent agreement theoretical calculations including only standard t=1 np pairing was observed.
