摘要: Green roofs can be an innovative and effective way of mitigating the environmental impact urbanization by providing several important ecosystem services. However, it is known that performance green varies depending on type vegetation and, in drier climates, without resorting to irrigation, these are limited xerophytic plant species biocrusts. The aim this research was therefore compare differently vegetated planted with vegetation. A particular focus their ability hold water during intense stormwater events also quality harvested rainwater. Six test beds different compositions were used roof a building Lisbon. Regarding retention, results varied composition season. As for quality, almost all parameters tested higher than Drinking Water Directive from European Union (EU) Word Health Organization (WHO) guidelines drinking-water standards potable water. Based our results, biocrusts viable typology slowing runoff events.
