Determination of the nature of the optical gap of SrTiO3

摘要: Absorption and electroabsorption (EA) measurements allow a description of the valence conduction bands SrTiO3, in theΔ-direction. This type information has been obtained from analysis structure absorption tail, which is observed low-temperature spectra. Urbach’s behavior appears above 160 °K experimentally followed up to 514 °K. Possible mechanisms for evolution tail with temperature are discussed.
