摘要: Active magnetic bearings (AMBs) is a device using controlled electromagnetic forces to support shaft without mechanical contact. One of the primary techniques condition monitoring rotors that vibration control. Rotating machinery facing some problems caused by misalignment. This defect leads premature failure shaft, coupling and bearing because important vibrations overloads generated. In this paper, nonlinear dynamic behavior supported two identical AMBs with eight-pole legs investigated in presence an angular misalignment defect. Thus, forces, acting on horizontal vertical directions are computed. They modeled stiffness damping matrices. The effects air gap distance between stator as well rotor speed level presented. To survey vibratory response misaligned rotor, numerical simulation theoretical model studied. All results presented discussed work.
