摘要: In its first part the paper recalls history of data retention legislation in European Union. The directive was born post 9/11 world, when fear terrorism peaked. This is context 2006 and subsequent implementations by member states. examines rationale behind two-years conservation metadata. Further on will examine reasons for annulment, privacy implications proportionality principle.
