摘要: Background: Patch testing with corticosteroid marker molecules is advocated because all available corticosteroids impossible in clinical practice. Most commonly used are budesonide, tixocortol pivalate, and hydrocortisone-17-butyrate. We have been patch not only the three markers, but also two mixes, each consisting of different concentrations markers. Objective: describe a patient allergic to toxicortol who was diagnosed by using lower test concentration that recommended, 0.1% petrolatum, as well weak mix, 0.202%. Methods: The tested standard series, including mixes its constituents. Results: None preparations were positive on first ordinary reading day, day 3, whereas both pivalate at mix 0.202% second 7, series gave reactions d10. Conclusion: possible benefit low supported, significance late readings beyond D4.
