摘要: Abstract: Biofuels are becoming increasingly important worldwide as environmentally friendly alternatives to fossil fuels, with biofuels produced from sources that do not compete food crops being of particular interest. This chapter discusses the advantages using membrane technology produce such vegetable oils, lignocellulosic feedstock and agricultural waste products. As an example, process transesterification, used for producing biodiesel is described in detail, followed by investigation into improvements offered separation techniques. Finally, looks at use pervaporation techniques bioalcohols, another promising application technology.
