摘要: The most characterised Dasheen mosaic virus and many other unreported putative viruses are involved in the mixed viral infection of elephant foot yam (Amorphophallus paeoniifolius). vitro propagation corm bud tips for free plantlet production was carried out three different culture phases consisting callusing, shoot regeneration rooting. A 100 % survival rate recorded on hardening sand: soil: coir pith (1:1:1) mixture. total 84 regenerated plantlets were found to be indexing 21 lines with species specific/genus specific serological molecular diagnostic techniques. Transcriptome sequencing two randomly selected plants a infected field sample. Not any known potyviruses traced transcriptome profiles supposed thus confirming complete elimination. Disease symptoms or re-occurrence not observed hardened virus-free plant.
