Relaxation behavior in clay-reinforced polymer nanocomposites

摘要: The effect of clay reinforcement on dielectric, conductivity, and mechanical relaxation behavior a polymer nanocomposite film is reported. Polymer composed three component polymers (polyacrylonitrile) as host matrix, salt (LiPF6) conducting species, (sodium montmorillonite) intercalant. macroscopic parameters like glass transition temperature available free mobile charge carriers have been analyzed properly using dynamic analysis dielectric analysis. Dielectric indicated distribution time function concentration, whereas conductivity spectrum exhibited dispersion at lower frequency followed by saturation region intermediate frequency. related to the electrode polarization attributed faster ion dynamics. are in excellent correlation with owing changes due polymer-ion-clay interaction. proposed mechanism sequel experimental results.
