摘要: Oxidative stress from generation of increased reactive oxygen species or free radicals has been reported to play an important role in the aging. To investigate relationship between oxidative and memory decline during aging, we have determined level lipid peroxidation, activities antioxidant enzymes, activity acetylcholine esterase (AChE) brain plasma as well biogenic amine levels Albino–Wistar rats at age 4 24 months. The results showed that peroxidation was significantly higher older than young rats. enzymes displayed age-dependent both plasma. Glutathione peroxidase catalase were found be decreased aged Superoxide dismutase (SOD) also rats; however, a tendency (non-significant) SOD observed. AChE Learning present study assessed by Morris Water Maze (MWM) Elevated plus (EPM) test. Short-term long-term impaired rats, which evident significant increase latency time MWM transfer EPM. Moreover, marked decrease amines (NA, DA, 5-HT) In conclusion, our data suggest stress, enzyme activities, altered activity, may potentially involved diminished function.
