摘要: Abstract Cassia absus seeds are widely used in traditional medicine for treatment of skin infections, wound healing, hypertension, peptic ulcers and anuria. The current study evaluated the antioxidant, antibacterial, enzyme inhibitory activity extracts obtained from C. L. (Leguminosae) to determine a mechanism use seeds. Crude ethanolic extract C.absus was prepared by maceration method n-butanol, choloroform, n-hexane water fractions were crude ethanol extract. antibacterial samples determined agar well diffusion broth micro dilution assay. antioxidant free radical scavenging DPPH inhibition against urease, carbonic anhydrase xanthine oxidase. n-butanol showed promising gram-positive bacteria when compared with ceftriaxone as standard. Moreover, fraction displayed most potent urease results that all have inhibition. In case anhydrase, only exhibited activity. Interestingly, none or significant oxidase DPPH. Data tends corroborate reported usage plant, infections healing could be explained its diuretic, antihypertensive effect due Anti-ulcer However, further vivo clinical trials required confirm these activities
