This paper presents functionalization luminescent quantum dots (QDs) employing multivalent dendrimer molecules conjugated biotin as moiety photo-physical thermodynamic behavior this bio-conjugate in terms highly affinic binding avidin. demonstrated fluorescence intensity QDs remained almost unaffected when synthesized conjugate interacts avidin considered an important requisite for applications sensing. The observed changes average emission lifetime well values components indicate tryptophan Calorimetric investigation reveals biotin-dendrimer exothermic process accompanied favorable enthalpy (ΔH = −21.6 kcal/mol) unfavorable entropy (ΔS = −43.7 cal/mol/deg). These findings may help multiplexed assays where based probe are immobilized via avidin-biotin interactions which have implications development immuno-histochemical techniques.
