摘要: Water quality and aquatic life are important variables for various economic activities, which include commercial fisheries, sport-fishing other aquatic-based recreational endeavors such as boating, swimming, SCUBA-diving. The impacts of acidification on some these activities may be valued by examining market data. paper will discuss appropriate methods provide approximate estimates the value where possible. For markets, prices, participation or visitation, data not exist. When does exist, it complete valuations relevant activities. Techniques that have evolved during last decade permit economists to estimate monetary values appropriately revealed in discussed this paper. These techniques related a major study conducted Ontario Ministry Environment impact acid deposition environmental amenities.
