摘要: In this work we study the effect of journal self citations in increase impact factor journals indexed Social Sciences Citation Index from 1998 to 2007. Two sets are studied: 63 which increased after four successive decreases and 23 at least six years during period studied. The main variable is percentage that contribute factor. No proof was found widespread manipulation as a result high level use journals.
