Energy-Balanced Distributed Clustering Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要: In order to prolong the wireless sensor network lifetime, an novel energy balanced distributed clustering (EBDC) algorithm based on virtual grid is proposed. EBDC has three obvious features: Firstly, it adopts ideas divide each cluster into M×N square area and select a working node in reduce redundant information save energy. Secondly, head generated according probability which includes residual energy, history sending packets so among nodes grid. Last, improves utility by changing activity of communication module nodes, model state transition nodes. Simulation results show that, compared with UVDC LEACH, significantly balances node’s average consumption lifetime.
