摘要: Abstract The aim of this work is to study from a taphonomic view the small mammals assemblage located on Pleistocene site known as PRERESA. mammal fossiliferous layer silt level at fluvial terrace. samples studied included remains rodents (Minimum Number Elements: MNE = 373) and lagomorphs (MNE = 372). During excavation seasons, distinct high concentration was recovered apart, named fossil ‘pellet’. We consider ‘fossil pellet’ be an aggregation several pellets it has been taphonomically analyzed apart in study. presence such concentrations/aggregations uncommon type open-air sites. This contains 253 MNE bones. considered three main aspects: anatomical representation, fragmentation, corrosion by digestion. Due location system, transport effects abrasion were well. results obtained show representation cranial elements (especially lagomorphs) well fragmentation both postcranial elements. Digestion observed affects dental below 30% lagomorphs, being light moderate digestion most frequent degrees, but all reach extreme grades (in molars
