摘要: Abstract Hydriding and dehydriding properties of Mg-based composites (MgG MgPdG) which are prepared by mechanical milling magnesium powder graphite (G) or supporting 5 wt.% Pd (5 Pd-G) in the presence various additives (tetrahydrofuran, benzene cyclohexane) have been studied. Such were effective as hydrogen storage materials even under mild reaction conditions (500 Torr, 453 K). Factors affecting hydriding characteristics extensively investigated connection with preparative (additives their amounts, times, Mg:G component ratios, etc.). In particular, tetrahydrofuran process strongly affected kinetics resulting composites. The active for those finely divided is intimate contact graphite. It expected that activity results from certain synergetic interactions between Mg aromatic carbon atoms containing charge transfer to some extent.
