摘要: Anode effects (AE) are considered a nuisance for aluminium production due to the numerous negative impacts that they generate in an electrolysis cell. Previously, great efforts have been deployed minimize occurrence of this event. Using online anode current monitoring, Alouette introduced algorithm detect abnormalities prior AE, allowing sufficient time apply corrective action before its occurrence. Several sets strategies were tested evaluate best approach correct situation without generating additional problems cells. Finally, individual currents measurements connected cell control system two pots automatically launch preventive treatment AE. A decrease total number along with increased stability is noticeable. Other indicators, such as anodic incidents, alumina dosage and metal purity also compared make sure no deterioration conditions occurred over time.
