摘要: In the last years, epigenetic regulation of gene expression is regarded as an important factor involved in a broad spectrum aging-associated processes including loss physical activity, frailty and genomic instability, development various pathological conditions such atherosclerosis, type 2 diabetes, cancer, immune deficits neurodegenerative diseases. Accordingly, inhibitors members superfamilies histone deacetylases (HDACs) have been proposed, among other drugs targeting pathways, promising therapeutics that able to combat aging its manifestations. The main focus this article review literature describing healthspan-promoting life-extending effects HDAC activity both animal clinical studies.
