摘要: Hooke's law, which is the foundation of mathematical theory elasticity, unfit to describe satisfactorily phenomena in elastic bodies even if we limit scope our research ideal deformations. We call a deformation ideally elastic, deformations disappear completely and energy stored up body given back without loss, when load removed.
