摘要: The Internet of Things (IoT) is a constantly-evolving area research and touches almost every aspect life in the modern world. As technology moves forward, it becoming increasingly important for these IoT devices environmental sensing to become self-powered enable long-term operation. This paper provides an outlook on current state-of-the-art terms energy harvesting low-power devices. An analytical approach taken, first defining types environments which energy-harvesters operate, before exploring both well-known novel techniques their uses modern-day sensing.
