摘要: In this chapter, we explore technology developments for the rapid detection, identification, and viability assessment of endospore-forming pathogens with a focus on Bacillus anthracis. First, introduce various toxin-producing species their role as bioinsecticides, probiotics, bioweapons. We also review endospores biological indicators (i.e., dosimeters) evaluating sterilization regimens, such autoclaving wastewater remediation. Monitoring effectiveness cleaning regimens to maintain good hygiene is required in several major industries, including health care, food, pharmaceutical industries. next section, recent DNA-, immuno-, dipicolinic acid assays, applications detection monitoring anthracis other pathogens. Finally, assays capable validation endospore inactivation after sterilization, based ATP synthesis during stage II germination, DPA release I germination.
