摘要: We have characterized the gene flowering promoting factor1 (FPF1), which is expressed in apical meristems immediately after photoperiodic induction of long-day plants mustard and Arabidopsis. In early transition stages, expression only detectable peripheral zone meristems; however, later on, it can also be found floral axillary that form secondary inflorescences. The FPF1 encodes a 12.6-kD protein has no homology to any previously identified known function. Constitutive Arabidopsis under control cauliflower mosaic virus 35S promoter resulted dominant heritable trait both short- conditions. Treatments with gibberellin (GA) paclobutrazol, GA biosynthesis inhibitor, as well crosses GA-deficient mutants indicate involved GA-dependent signaling pathway modulates response during flowering.
